| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. The amount of $1,500,000 is appropriated out of | |
| 13 | 13 | the general revenue fund to the Department of State Health Services | |
| 14 | 14 | for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2010, and the unexpended | |
| 15 | 15 | balance of that amount plus an additional $2,800,000 out of the | |
| 16 | 16 | general revenue fund is appropriated to the department for the | |
| 17 | 17 | state fiscal year ending August 31, 2011, to implement Chapter 98, | |
| 18 | 18 | Health and Safety Code, as added by Section 1, Chapter 359 (S.B. No. | |
| 19 | 19 | 288), Acts of the 80th Legislature, Regular Session, 2007. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
