| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Legislature of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 6 | 6 | | join the citizens of San Antonio and the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health |

| 7 | 7 | | Care services community in celebrating the grand opening of the |

| 8 | 8 | | CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills on July 10, 2009; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care is well known for |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | its longstanding mission and 140-year history of providing superior |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | health care services to the citizens of San Antonio and South Texas; |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | its newest facility, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | is continuing that mission by providing those services in the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | growing area of Westover Hills; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The 150-bed hospital in Westover Hills will provide |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | emergency room and urgent care services, obstetrics, inpatient and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | outpatient surgery, family medicine, physicians' offices, and the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | most advanced technology available for patient care; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care has set the pace for |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | compassionate, quality health care and is among the most respected |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | providers of medical services in South Texas; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Through the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Hills, the founders of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care, the Sisters |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | of Charity of the Incarnate Word, members of the board of directors, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | the medical staff, and its volunteers and supporters are continuing |

| 26 | 26 | | their commitment of providing superior services to the citizens of |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | San Antonio and South Texas; now, therefore, be it |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |

| 29 | 29 | | hereby congratulate all those involved with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa |

| 30 | 30 | | Health Care and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills on the |
