| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The editors of Worth magazine selected Mr. Tilley |

| 7 | 7 | | for the publication's list of Top 100 Attorneys because his long |

| 8 | 8 | | history working with affluent clients, his professional |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | affiliations, and his publishing history confirm that he could |

| 10 | 10 | | provide extraordinary expertise to readers of Worth; and |

| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Rice M. Tilley, Jr., is an attorney in the Fort |

| 12 | 12 | | Worth office of Haynes and Boone, an international corporate law |

| 13 | 13 | | firm with offices in Texas, New York, Washington, D.C., Mexico |

| 14 | 14 | | City, and Moscow; he has more than 40 years of experience in |

| 15 | 15 | | taxation, estate planning, tax-exempt organizations, and asset |

| 16 | 16 | | protection planning; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Tilley is acknowledged as one of the country's |

| 18 | 18 | | best lawyers in Best Lawyers in America; he has repeatedly been |

| 19 | 19 | | recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as one of the state's "Super |

| 20 | 20 | | Lawyers"; and he was selected by the Fort Worth Business Press as |

| 21 | 21 | | one of Fort Worth's "Attorneys of Excellence"; and |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, He has served as chairman of the Real Estate, |

| 23 | 23 | | Probate, and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | edited the section's newsletter; he has also served as a member |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | of the Tax Lawyers-Internal Revenue Service Liaison Committee |

| 26 | 26 | | for the Southwest Region; with his expertise and his experience, |

| 27 | 27 | | Mr. Tilley has brought great credit to his firm and his |

| 28 | 28 | | profession; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
