SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 461
In Memory
of
Douley Ray Graham
WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the
loss of Douley Ray Graham of Gardendale, who died on February 4,
2009, at the age of 58; and
WHEREAS, Born in Manila, Arkansas, on August 20, 1950, to
Lloyd and Lorraine DeHart Edmiston, Mr. Graham was blessed with a
large family and many friends whose affection greatly enhanced
his life; and
WHEREAS, Although he was taken far too soon, Douley Ray
Graham will be forever remembered by all those whose lives he
touched; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Douley Ray Graham
and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to
his sons, Jimmy Ray Erwin, Kyle Graham and his wife, Brittany,
and Joseph Phlugee; to his daughters, Karen Werldaucher, Rachel
Edmiston, and Amanda Hill; to his brothers, Herbert Graham and
his wife, Ginger, Phillip Graham and his wife, Elva, Terry Graham
and his wife, Diane, Gary Graham and his wife, Virginia, and
Charlie Graham and his wife, Diane; to his sisters, Sandra Gross,
Kaye Bryant and her husband, Jack, and Fay Edmiston and her
husband, Ike; to his 10 grandchildren; and to his other relatives
and friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
this day, it do so in memory of Douley Ray Graham.
