4	4	John Andrew Collins
5	5	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
6	6	citizens of The Woodlands in mourning the loss of John Andrew
7	7	Collins, who died March 8, 2009, at the age of 25; and
8	8	WHEREAS, John Andrew Collins was born in Houston on
9	9	September 27, 1983; he attended Glen Loch Elementary School and
10	10	Collins Intermediate School and graduated from The Woodlands
11	11	High School in 2002; he was enrolled at Lone Star College; and
12	12	WHEREAS, He was a faithful and lifelong member of The
13	13	Woodlands United Methodist Church, and he earned the rank of
14	14	Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 772; and
15	15	WHEREAS, Andrew was a bright and thoughtful young man, and
16	16	he enriched the lives of all who knew him with his love, his
17	17	kindness, and his compassion for others; and
18	18	WHEREAS, A dearly loved son, grandson, and brother, Andrew
19	19	brought great joy and happiness to his family, and he leaves
20	20	behind memories that will be treasured forever in their hearts;
21	21	now, therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
23	23	Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
24	24	family of John Andrew Collins: his parents, Cam and Kathy
25	25	Collins; his brother, Austin Collins; and his grandparents, Paul
26	26	and Matalee Smith, Carol Collins, and Violet Collins; and, be it
27	27	further
28	28	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
29	29	his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
30	30	Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
31	31	memory of John Andrew Collins.
