| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Diane Vasquez for her many years of outstanding service |

| 4 | 4 | | to the state as an employee in the Texas Department of Criminal |

| 5 | 5 | | Justice; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Diane joined the Texas Department of Criminal |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Justice on September 25, 1978, and is retiring from her position |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | as Program Specialist I on January 30, 2009; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Well known for her dedication to her work, Diane |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | has consistently displayed professionalism throughout her career |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and has demonstrated the willingness and ability to set standards |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | of excellence; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Diane is a highly respected and beloved employee, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice has greatly |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | benefited from her loyalty, her diligence, and the skill with |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | which she has handled her responsibilities; now, therefore, be it |

| 17 | 17 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Legislature, hereby commend Diane Vasquez for her valuable |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | contributions to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | extend to her best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be |
