SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 6
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Diane Vasquez for her many years of outstanding service
to the state as an employee in the Texas Department of Criminal
Justice; and
WHEREAS, Diane joined the Texas Department of Criminal
Justice on September 25, 1978, and is retiring from her position
as Program Specialist I on January 30, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Well known for her dedication to her work, Diane
has consistently displayed professionalism throughout her career
and has demonstrated the willingness and ability to set standards
of excellence; and
WHEREAS, Diane is a highly respected and beloved employee,
and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice has greatly
benefited from her loyalty, her diligence, and the skill with
which she has handled her responsibilities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby commend Diane Vasquez for her valuable
contributions to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and
extend to her best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
