| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Judy Womack for her many contributions and years of |

| 4 | 4 | | loyal service to the City of Mesquite; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Judy began her career with the City of Mesquite in |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | 1984 as a Secretary II in the Engineering Division; over the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | years, her responsibilities increased as she exhibited her |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | administrative and managerial talent and expertise, and she |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | served as Administrative Secretary, Assisting City Secretary, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | and City Secretary; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Judy has been noted for her |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | superior skills and professionalism; during her six years as City |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Secretary, she coordinated elections, student government days, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and boards and commissions banquets and attended 144 city council |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | meetings in her official capacity; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, Judy has handled her |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | dedication, and she has ensured that the public had access to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | information through the city's web site; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Judy is respected |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and admired by her colleagues, and her presence at Mesquite City |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Hall will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby commend Judy Womack on her exceptional |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | service to the City of Mesquite and extend to her best wishes in |

| 26 | 26 | | all her future endeavors; and, be it further |
