4	4	Gladys T. Lewis
5	5	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
6	6	commemorates the life of Gladys T. Lewis, who died March 25,
7	7	2009; and
8	8	WHEREAS, She was a beloved and respected member of her
9	9	community and worked diligently for the causes she believed in;
10	10	and
11	11	WHEREAS, Gladys Lewis enriched the lives of all who knew
12	12	her with her love and compassion, her warmth and kindness, and
13	13	her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; and
14	14	WHEREAS, While she will be greatly missed by her family and
15	15	many friends, she leaves behind memories that will long be
16	16	cherished in the hearts of those she left behind; now, therefore,
17	17	be it
18	18	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
19	19	Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Gladys T. Lewis
20	20	and extend sincere condolences to her bereaved family; and, be it
21	21	further
22	22	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
23	23	her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
24	24	Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
25	25	memory of Gladys T. Lewis.
