| 12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Section 31.121, Parks and Wildlife Code, is | |
| 14 | 14 | amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | (a-1) Game wardens commissioned by the commission are the | |
| 16 | 16 | primary enforcement officers responsible for enforcing the | |
| 17 | 17 | provisions of this chapter related to water safety. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 19 | 19 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 20 | 20 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 21 | 21 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
