1010 AN ACT
1111 relating to the powers and duties of the Montgomery County
1212 Municipal Utility District No. 112.
1313 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1414 SECTION 1. Subtitle F, Title 6, Special District Local Laws
1515 Code, is amended by adding Chapter 8370 to read as follows:
1616 CHAPTER 8370. MONTGOMERY COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 112
1717 SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1818 Sec. 8370.001. DEFINITION. In this chapter, "district"
1919 means the Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 112.

2121 SUBCHAPTER B. POWERS AND DUTIES
2222 Sec. 8370.101. MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT POWERS AND
2323 DUTIES. The district has the powers and duties provided by the
2424 general law of this state, including Chapters 49 and 54, Water Code,
2525 applicable to municipal utility districts created under Section 59,
2626 Article XVI, Texas Constitution.
2727 Sec. 8370.102. NO ALLOCATION AGREEMENT. Section 54.016(f),
2828 Water Code, does not apply to the district.
2929 SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to
3030 introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this
3131 Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a
3232 copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies,
3333 officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished
3434 under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313,
3535 Government Code.
3636 (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has
3737 submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on
3838 Environmental Quality.
3939 (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed
4040 its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor, the
4141 lieutenant governor, and the speaker of the house of
4242 representatives within the required time.
4343 (d) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this
4444 state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect
4545 to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act are fulfilled
4646 and accomplished.
4747 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
