12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 1903, Occupations Code, is | |
14 | 14 | amended by adding Section 1903.256 to read as follows: | |
15 | 15 | Sec. 1903.256. INSTALLATION OF IRRIGATION SYSTEM WITHOUT | |
16 | 16 | LICENSE; OFFENSE. (a) Unless exempt under Section 1903.002, a | |
17 | 17 | person commits an offense if the person installs an irrigation | |
18 | 18 | system without holding a license issued by the commission under | |
19 | 19 | Chapter 37, Water Code. | |
20 | 20 | (b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor. | |
21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | |
