(Relating to duties of law enforcement involving damaged fences.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require a peace officer to remain at the location of a damaged fence until the peace officer or another person makes reasonable attempts to secure the fence or the land owner or owners representative arrives if the peace officer believes the fence is intended to contain livestock or other animals.
