| 13 | 13 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 15 | 15 | is amended by adding Section 225.082 to read as follows: | |
| 16 | 16 | Sec. 225.082. BLUE STAR MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) U.S. | |
| 17 | 17 | Highway 80 in the town of Sunnyvale is designated as a Blue Star | |
| 18 | 18 | Memorial Highway. | |
| 19 | 19 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 20 | 20 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 21 | 21 | designation as a Blue Star Memorial Highway and any other | |
| 22 | 22 | appropriate information; and | |
| 23 | 23 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 24 | 24 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | |
