                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 22, 2011      TO: Honorable Allan Ritter, Chair, House Committee on Natural Resources      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB610 by Zerwas (Relating to the method of delivery of certain notices sent by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to utilize electronic means of transmission for notices issued or sent by the agency to a state senator or representative, unless the senator or a representative has requested to receive notice by mail. The bill's passage is not expected to have a significant impact on TCEQ operations or workload.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
