H.R. No. 1299
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rachel Danielle Nicoletti, a student at Lorena High
School, has been selected for membership in the National Society of
High School Scholars; and
WHEREAS, Established in 2002, the NSHSS is an international
organization that recognizes students who have achieved academic
excellence and that strives to provide them with opportunities to
build on their success; membership is granted to sophomores,
juniors, and seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or
higher, and inductees are encouraged to develop their talents and
to use them for the betterment of society at large; and
WHEREAS, As an NSHSS member, Ms. Nicoletti has access to a
wide range of resources that will help her to enhance her skills,
including publications and web content, academic competitions, and
exclusive networking events; she also qualifies for members-only
scholarship and award opportunities; and
WHEREAS, Rachel Nicoletti has demonstrated exceptional
intelligence, initiative, and dedication in pursuit of her
education, and her academic accomplishments are indeed worthy of
recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Rachel Nicoletti on her induction
into the National Society of High School Scholars and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Nicoletti as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
