SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 788
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in
congratulating Hannah Rebekah Stoltenberg of Lake Jackson,
Texas, on the occasion of her high school graduation on May 14,
2011; and
WHEREAS, A homeschooler, Hannah has demonstrated diligence
and determination in achieving the goals she set for herself and
has fulfilled all the requirements for a high school diploma; and
WHEREAS, Hannah is an honor student and a member of Phi
Theta Kappa, and she has maintained an A average throughout her
high school classes and a 4.0 grade point average in her
dual-credit courses; and
WHEREAS, She has developed strength, grace, and discipline
through the study of dance and has given generously to others and
strengthened her faith by participating in worldwide missions;
and
WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of
a high school education, Hannah now embarks on an adventure into
a world for which she is well prepared and which holds countless
exciting opportunities for her; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby commend Hannah Rebekah Stoltenberg on her
outstanding accomplishments and extend to her best wishes for
success in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
this exemplary young Texan as an expression of high regard from
the Texas Senate.
