12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Section 53.002(f), Government Code, is amended | |
14 | 14 | to read as follows: | |
15 | 15 | (f) The judges of the 12th, 106th, 229th, 258th, 278th, | |
16 | 16 | 381st, and 411th district courts may each appoint a bailiff. At the | |
17 | 17 | discretion of the judge, a bailiff may serve the court in each | |
18 | 18 | county of the district. | |
19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | |
