1010 relating to the appointment of bailiffs for certain district
1111 courts.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Section 53.002(f), Government Code, is amended
1414 to read as follows:
1515 (f) The judges of the 12th, 106th, 229th, 258th, 278th,
1616 381st, and 411th district courts may each appoint a bailiff. At the
1717 discretion of the judge, a bailiff may serve the court in each
1818 county of the district.
1919 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
