| 12 | 12 | amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (d) A surety, including an attorney acting as a surety, may | |
| 14 | 14 | not employ or contract with a person to act as an agent for the | |
| 15 | 15 | surety if the person has been finally convicted of: | |
| 16 | 16 | (1) a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude; or | |
| 17 | 17 | (2) a felony. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
