| 12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 14 | 14 | is amended by adding Section 225.092 to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | Sec. 225.092. SAM RAYBURN PARKWAY. (a) The portion of | |
| 16 | 16 | Recreational Road 255 between State Highway 63 and U.S. Highway 96 | |
| 17 | 17 | in Jasper County is designated as Sam Rayburn Parkway. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 19 | 19 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 20 | 20 | designation as Sam Rayburn Parkway and any other appropriate | |
| 21 | 21 | information; and | |
| 22 | 22 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the road and at | |
| 23 | 23 | appropriate intermediate sites along the road. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | |
