| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Sections 152.2361(a) and (b), Human Resources |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Code, are amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (a) The Upshur County Juvenile Board is composed of the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | county judge and[,] the district judge [judges] in Upshur County[, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | and the judges of any statutory court in the county designated as a |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | juvenile court]. |

| 18 | 18 | | (b) The county judge of Upshur County is the chairman of the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | board and its chief administrative officer [juvenile board shall |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | elect one of its members as chairman at its first regular meeting of |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | each calendar year]. |

| 22 | 22 | | SECTION 2. Sections 152.2361(c), (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | (j), (k), and (m), Human Resources Code, are repealed. |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
