10	10	relating to electronically filing any court document in a criminal
11	11	case in Hidalgo County.
12	12	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
13	13	SECTION 1. Section 24.194, Government Code, is amended by
14	14	adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
15	15	(d) A party in a criminal case before the court may
16	16	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
17	17	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
18	18	party in electronic filing.
19	19	SECTION 2. Section 24.195, Government Code, is amended by
20	20	adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
21	21	(d) A party in a criminal case before the court may
22	22	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
23	23	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
24	24	party in electronic filing.
25	25	SECTION 3. Section 24.241, Government Code, is amended by
26	26	adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
27	27	(d) A party in a criminal case before the court may
28	28	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
29	29	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
30	30	party in electronic filing.
31	31	SECTION 4. Section 24.385, Government Code, is amended by
32	32	adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
33	33	(b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
34	34	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
35	35	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
36	36	party in electronic filing.
37	37	SECTION 5. Section 24.452, Government Code, is amended by
38	38	adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
39	39	(b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
40	40	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
41	41	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
42	42	party in electronic filing.
43	43	SECTION 6. Section 24.478, Government Code, is amended by
44	44	adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
45	45	(b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
46	46	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
47	47	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
48	48	party in electronic filing.
49	49	SECTION 7. Section 24.515, Government Code, is amended by
50	50	adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
51	51	(b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
52	52	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
53	53	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
54	54	party in electronic filing.
55	55	SECTION 8. Section 24.534, Government Code, is amended by
56	56	adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
57	57	(b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
58	58	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
59	59	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
60	60	party in electronic filing.
61	61	SECTION 9. Section 24.543, Government Code, is amended by
62	62	adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
63	63	(b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
64	64	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
65	65	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
66	66	party in electronic filing.
67	67	SECTION 10. Section 24.574, Government Code, is amended by
68	68	adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
69	69	(c) A party in a criminal case before the court may
70	70	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
71	71	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
72	72	party in electronic filing.
73	73	SECTION 11. Section 24.593, Government Code, is amended by
74	74	adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
75	75	(c) A party in a criminal case before the court may
76	76	electronically file any required court document. The court shall
77	77	implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
78	78	party in electronic filing.
79	79	SECTION 12. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
