99 AN ACT
1010 relating to electronically filing any court document in a criminal
1111 case in Hidalgo County.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Section 24.194, Government Code, is amended by
1414 adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
1515 (d) A party in a criminal case before the court may
1616 electronically file any required court document. The court shall
1717 implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
1818 party in electronic filing.
1919 SECTION 2. Section 24.195, Government Code, is amended by
2020 adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
2121 (d) A party in a criminal case before the court may
2222 electronically file any required court document. The court shall
2323 implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
2424 party in electronic filing.
2525 SECTION 3. Section 24.241, Government Code, is amended by
2626 adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
2727 (d) A party in a criminal case before the court may
2828 electronically file any required court document. The court shall
2929 implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
3030 party in electronic filing.
3131 SECTION 4. Section 24.385, Government Code, is amended by
3232 adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:
3333 (b) A party in a criminal case before the court may
3434 electronically file any required court document. The court shall

3737 SECTION 5. Section 24.452, Government Code, is amended by
3838 adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:

4343 SECTION 6. Section 24.478, Government Code, is amended by
4444 adding Subsection (b) to read as follows:

4949 SECTION 7. Section 24.515, Government Code, is amended by

7373 SECTION 11. Section 24.593, Government Code, is amended by
7474 adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:

7676 electronically file any required court document. The court shall
7777 implement the statewide electronic court filing system to assist a
7878 party in electronic filing.
7979 SECTION 12. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
