13 | 13 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
14 | 14 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
15 | 15 | is amended by adding Section 225.091 to read as follows: | |
16 | 16 | Sec. 225.091. OFFICER ANGEL DAVID GARCIA MEMORIAL | |
17 | 17 | INTERCHANGE. (a) The interchange in El Paso between Interstate | |
18 | 18 | Highway 10 and Joe Battle Boulevard is designated as the Officer | |
19 | 19 | Angel David Garcia Memorial Interchange. | |
20 | 20 | (b) The department shall design and construct markers | |
21 | 21 | indicating the designation as the Officer Angel David Garcia | |
22 | 22 | Memorial Interchange and any other appropriate information. | |
23 | 23 | (c) The department shall erect a marker at one or more sites | |
24 | 24 | on the interchange and approaching the interchange in each | |
25 | 25 | direction. | |
26 | 26 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | |
