| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A portion of North Texas has emerged as an |

| 12 | 12 | | especially important "connectivity hub" of this type; situated |

| 13 | 13 | | within the Metropolitan Planning Area of the North Central Texas |

| 14 | 14 | | Council of Governments, this region contains well-developed mass |

| 15 | 15 | | transit facilities and a broad range of companies that specialize |

|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The comprehensive transportation resources |

| 18 | 18 | | available in the NCTCOG Metropolitan Planning Area include the |

| 19 | 19 | | Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus and light-rail system, the Trinity |

| 40 | 40 | | transportation, and its ongoing accomplishments are pointing the |

| 43 | 43 | | RESOLVED, That the 83rd Legislature of the State of Texas |
