99 AN ACT
1010 relating to the territory of the East Aldine Management District.
1111 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1212 SECTION 1. The following territory is added to the
1313 territory of the East Aldine Management District:
1414 Four tracts totaling approximately 790 acres, situated in
1515 Harris County, described as follows:
1616 Tract 1 - beginning at northeast corner of East Aldine
1717 Management District boundary at the north right-of-way (ROW) of
1818 Aldine Bender Road and east ROW of Lee Road, and coincident City of
1919 Houston full-purpose boundary line;
2020 Then east along north ROW of Aldine Bender Road to west ROW of
2121 Old Humble Road and coincident City of Houston full-purpose
2222 boundary line;
2323 Then northeast along west ROW of Old Humble Road and City of
2424 Houston full-purpose boundary line to west ROW of Southern Pacific
2525 Railway;
2626 Then south southwest along west ROW of Southern Pacific
2727 Railway to north boundary of East Aldine Management District
2828 boundary;
2929 Then west along north boundary of East Aldine Management

115115 SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to
116116 introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this
117117 Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a
118118 copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies,
119119 officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished
120120 under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313,
121121 Government Code.
122122 (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has
123123 submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on
124124 Environmental Quality.
125125 (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed
126126 its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor,
127127 lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of representatives
128128 within the required time.
129129 (d) The general law relating to consent by political
130130 subdivisions to the creation of districts with conservation,
131131 reclamation, and road powers and the inclusion of land in those
132132 districts has been complied with.
133133 (e) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this
134134 state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect
135135 to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act have been
136136 fulfilled and accomplished.
137137 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
138138 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
139139 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
140140 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
141141 Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
