The bill would amend the Penal Code to expand the definition of "harm" to include financial and personal reputation harm, and harm caused by the invasion of a person's privacy. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
