| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 42.155, Education Code, is amended by |

| 11 | 11 | | adding Subsection (m) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | (m) In determining the regular transportation allotment for |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | a school district under Subsection (c), the commissioner shall |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | include transportation provided by the district for a student |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | attending a dual credit course during the school day, including |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | transportation from one campus to another inside the district and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | transportation from the district to another public secondary school |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | or public institution of higher education. |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
