A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to a transportation allotment for a school district
transporting students to dual credit courses.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 42.155, Education Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (m) to read as follows:
(m) In determining the regular transportation allotment for
a school district under Subsection (c), the commissioner shall
include transportation provided by the district for a student
attending a dual credit course during the school day, including
transportation from one campus to another inside the district and
transportation from the district to another public secondary school
or public institution of higher education.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
