| 13 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 14 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 418, Government Code, is |
|---|
| 15 | 9 | | amended by adding Section 418.052 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 16 | 10 | | Sec. 418.052. USE OF FUNDS TO SUPPORT CERTAIN DIVISION |
|---|
| 17 | 11 | | PERSONNEL. The division may use appropriated funds to purchase |
|---|
| 18 | 12 | | food and beverages for division personnel who are: |
|---|
| 19 | 13 | | (1) activated to provide services in response to a |
|---|
| 20 | 14 | | disaster; and |
|---|
| 21 | 15 | | (2) unable to leave or required to remain at their |
|---|
| 22 | 16 | | assignment areas due to the disaster. |
|---|
| 23 | 17 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 24 | 18 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 25 | 19 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 26 | 20 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 27 | 21 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
