115 relating to fees of office for the Velasco Drainage District.
126 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
137 SECTION 1. Chapter 44, Acts of the 57th Legislature, 3rd
148 Called Session, 1962, is amended by adding Section 3A to read as
159 follows:
1610 Sec. 3A. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a
1711 Supervisor is entitled to receive fees of office in accordance with
1812 Section 49.060, Water Code.
1913 (b) Notwithstanding Section 49.060(a-1), Water Code, the
2014 District may not set the annual limit on the fees of office that a
2115 Supervisor may receive in a year at an amount greater than $12,000.
2216 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2317 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2418 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2519 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2620 Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
