| 12 | 6 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 7 | | SECTION 1. Chapter 44, Acts of the 57th Legislature, 3rd |
|---|
| 14 | 8 | | Called Session, 1962, is amended by adding Section 3A to read as |
|---|
| 15 | 9 | | follows: |
|---|
| 16 | 10 | | Sec. 3A. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a |
|---|
| 17 | 11 | | Supervisor is entitled to receive fees of office in accordance with |
|---|
| 18 | 12 | | Section 49.060, Water Code. |
|---|
| 19 | 13 | | (b) Notwithstanding Section 49.060(a-1), Water Code, the |
|---|
| 20 | 14 | | District may not set the annual limit on the fees of office that a |
|---|
| 21 | 15 | | Supervisor may receive in a year at an amount greater than $12,000. |
|---|
| 22 | 16 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 23 | 17 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 24 | 18 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 25 | 19 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 26 | 20 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
