A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the fee charged by a county clerk for issuing
noncertified copies of certain documents.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 118.0145, Local Government Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
(c) A county clerk shall reduce the fee provided in Section
118.011 to 10 cents for issuing a noncertified copy of a page or a
portion of a page of a document if the document is:
(1) a proposed or adopted county budget;
(2) any comprehensive annual financial report of the
county;
(3) any notice of a regular meeting of the
commissioners court; or
(4) any regular meeting agenda of the commissioners
court.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
