| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter G, Chapter 130, Education Code, is |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | amended by adding Section 130.1222 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Sec. 130.1222. BLINN JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT; CAMPUS |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | FUNDING. Each state fiscal biennium, the governing board of Blinn |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Junior College District shall direct a proportionate amount of the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | total amount of funds the district receives from tuition and fees |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and funds appropriated to the district based on contact hours to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | each district campus with a student enrollment of at least 1,000 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | based on the percentage of the total amount of tuition and fees |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | collected at that campus. |

| 22 | 22 | | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | beginning with the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017. |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
