66 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
77 AN ACT
88 relating to waiving the fee for a fishing license for residents of
99 this state who are at least 65 years of age.
1010 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1111 SECTION 1. Section 46.004(c), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
1212 amended to read as follows:
1313 (c) The commission shall waive the fee for a:
1414 (1) resident who is at least 65 years of age;
1515 (2) qualified disabled veteran as defined by Section
1616 42.012; or
1717 (3) [and for a] resident on active duty as a member of
1818 the United States military forces, the Texas Army National Guard,
1919 the Texas Air National Guard, or the Texas State Guard.
2020 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2121 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2222 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2323 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2424 Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
