| 8 | 8 | | relating to waiving the fee for a fishing license for residents of |

| 9 | 9 | | this state who are at least 65 years of age. |

| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 46.004(c), Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (c) The commission shall waive the fee for a: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (1) resident who is at least 65 years of age; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (2) qualified disabled veteran as defined by Section |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | 42.012; or |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (3) [and for a] resident on active duty as a member of |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the United States military forces, the Texas Army National Guard, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the Texas Air National Guard, or the Texas State Guard. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
