13 | 7 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
14 | 8 | SECTION 1. Section 824.003, Government Code, is amended to | |
15 | 9 | read as follows: | |
16 | 10 | Sec. 824.003. WHEN BENEFITS ARE PAYABLE. Except as | |
17 | 11 | otherwise provided by this chapter, an annuity provided by this | |
18 | 12 | chapter is payable for the month in which the person who receives | |
19 | 13 | the annuity dies. Monthly annuity payments are generally due to be | |
