| 7 | 7 | | relating to access to certain information regarding the performance |

| 8 | 8 | | of public school campuses. |

| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter L, Chapter 39, Education Code, is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | amended by adding Section 39.3621 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 39.3621. NOTICE ON CAMPUS WEBSITE. (a) Each campus |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | shall make the following information available in a notice |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | prominently displayed on the primary Internet web page of the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | campus: |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (1) the performance rating of the campus under Section |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 39.054; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | (2) the Financial Allocation Study for Texas (FAST) |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | rating of the campus, as determined by the comptroller; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (3) the maximum enrollment capacity of the campus and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the number of students enrolled at the campus; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (4) if the campus includes elementary grade levels, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | the percentage of students enrolled at the third grade level and the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | percentage of students enrolled at the fifth grade level who are |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | performing at that grade level in reading and mathematics on the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | assessment instruments administered under Section 39.023. |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (b) The commissioner shall adopt rules prescribing a |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | uniform format that must be used by a school district for the notice |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | required by this section. |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | (c) The notice required by this section may not include or |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | be combined with any other information required by other law to be |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | made available to parents and the public, including information in |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | the campus report card required under Section 39.305 and the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | performance report required under Section 39.306. |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
