| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 542.003, Insurance Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (c) This section applies to an insurance carrier, as that | |
| 13 | 13 | term is defined by Section 401.011, Labor Code, providing workers' | |
| 14 | 14 | compensation insurance. Subsection (b)(6) does not apply to the | |
| 15 | 15 | insurance carrier if the division of workers' compensation of the | |
| 16 | 16 | department determines that the insurance carrier is in compliance | |
| 17 | 17 | with division rules relating to access to workers' | |
| 18 | 18 | compensation-related records and information. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
