A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the permit requirements for wastes received from
ocean-going vessels.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 361.090, Texas Health & Safety Code, is
amended to read as follows:
(f) Waste received by a facility for collection, handling,
storage, processing, and disposal from an ocean-going vessel or
other watercraft that generated the waste is considered to be waste
that results from or is produced by the facility under section
(a)(1
).
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
