                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 28, 2015      TO: Honorable Byron Cook, Chair, House Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3438 by Riddle (Relating to the transfer of surplus or salvage state agency property.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would direct the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) to advertise surplus state property on the commission's website. Under current law, that responsibility lies with the Comptroller of Public Accounts. The bill also would authorize TFC to establish a procedure by which a state agency could receive a return on small value items through the transfer of similar items. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
