A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to fees of office for the directors of a municipal utility
district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 54, Water Code, is amended
by adding Section 54.104 to read as follows:
Sec. 54.104. PER DIEM. A director is entitled to receive a
per diem of not more than $100 a day for each day the director
actually spends performing the duties of a director. The per diem
may not exceed $4,800 a year.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
