H.R. No. 1160
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Priscilla Cruz was honored with an Outstanding
Employee Award from the Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County
on February 25, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1969, the Behavioral Health Center
provides services to area residents who struggle with mental
illness and/or intellectual and developmental difficulties; in
times of need, citizens of Nueces County have a trusted place to
which they can turn, thanks to the commitment to excellence
demonstrated by the center's staff and team of medical specialists;
and
WHEREAS, Ms. Cruz has been with BHCNC since December 2, 2013;
as the veterans service representative, she works to ensure that
military service members and their families have access to
beneficial programs and services; she is involved with myriad local
events, coalitions, and committees, further highlighting her
devotion to our nation's veterans; generous with her time and
talents, she is a great asset to BHCNC and to her associates; and
WHEREAS, The Behavioral Health Center benefits immensely
from the efforts of Priscilla Cruz, and it is a pleasure to join in
honoring her for her dedicated service; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Priscilla Cruz on earning an
Outstanding Employee Award from the Behavioral Health Center of
Nueces County and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Cruz as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
