| 7 | 8 | | annual awards banquet on February 7, 2015; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Each year, the Burnet chamber recognizes |

| 9 | 10 | | individuals and businesses for their outstanding achievements and |

| 10 | 11 | | for their efforts to benefit the local community; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Denton works as the coordinator of the Burnet |

| 12 | 13 | | Consolidated Independent School District's Parent Resource Center; |

| 13 | 14 | | additionally, she volunteers at local nursing homes, and she is an |

| 14 | 15 | | active member of the DIVA Dawgs Foundation, the Bulldog Booster |

| 15 | 16 | | Club, and the Esprit de Corps Booster Club; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Through her exceptional contributions, Darlene |

| 17 | 18 | | Denton has furthered Burnet's reputation as a great place to live, |

| 18 | 19 | | work, and raise a family, and she is indeed deserving of this |
