5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Dale Warren of Stephenville retired as chief |

6 | 7 | | juvenile probation officer for Erath County on December 31, 2014, |

7 | 8 | | concluding an outstanding tenure of three decades in that position; |

9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of Southern Methodist University, where |

10 | 11 | | he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees, Mr. Warren has |

11 | 12 | | devoted a lifetime to the field of public service; before assuming |
---|
12 | 13 | | his present office, he worked for 10 years in the state's mental |
---|
13 | 14 | | health and mental retardation system, and he often drew on his |
---|
14 | 15 | | expertise in mental health issues while working with the |
---|
15 | 16 | | probationers under his supervision; and |
---|
16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, this esteemed Texan has |
---|
17 | 18 | | enjoyed the love and support of his wife, Susy; during retirement, |
---|
18 | 19 | | he hopes to continue to prepare social and home studies for state |
---|
19 | 20 | | district court adoption and custody dispute cases; and |
---|
20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Deeply committed to his work, Dale Warren helped |
---|
21 | 22 | | countless youth in the juvenile justice system to find their |
---|
22 | 23 | | footing and go on to build more productive and rewarding lives, and |
---|
23 | 24 | | his contributions will continue to benefit area citizens for years |
---|
24 | 25 | | to come; now, therefore, be it |

25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Dale Warren on the occasion of his |

27 | 28 | | retirement as chief juvenile probation officer for Erath County and |

28 | 29 | | extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
