45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Dale Warren of Stephenville retired as chief
67 juvenile probation officer for Erath County on December 31, 2014,
78 concluding an outstanding tenure of three decades in that position;
89 and
910 WHEREAS, A graduate of Southern Methodist University, where
1011 he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees, Mr. Warren has
1112 devoted a lifetime to the field of public service; before assuming
1213 his present office, he worked for 10 years in the state's mental
1314 health and mental retardation system, and he often drew on his
1415 expertise in mental health issues while working with the
1516 probationers under his supervision; and
1617 WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, this esteemed Texan has
1718 enjoyed the love and support of his wife, Susy; during retirement,
1819 he hopes to continue to prepare social and home studies for state
1920 district court adoption and custody dispute cases; and
2021 WHEREAS, Deeply committed to his work, Dale Warren helped
2122 countless youth in the juvenile justice system to find their
2223 footing and go on to build more productive and rewarding lives, and
2324 his contributions will continue to benefit area citizens for years
2425 to come; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby congratulate Dale Warren on the occasion of his
2728 retirement as chief juvenile probation officer for Erath County and
2829 extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Mr. Warren as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3132 House of Representatives.
