H.R. No. 125 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Dale Warren of Stephenville retired as chief juvenile probation officer for Erath County on December 31, 2014, concluding an outstanding tenure of three decades in that position; and WHEREAS, A graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees, Mr. Warren has devoted a lifetime to the field of public service; before assuming his present office, he worked for 10 years in the state's mental health and mental retardation system, and he often drew on his expertise in mental health issues while working with the probationers under his supervision; and WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, this esteemed Texan has enjoyed the love and support of his wife, Susy; during retirement, he hopes to continue to prepare social and home studies for state district court adoption and custody dispute cases; and WHEREAS, Deeply committed to his work, Dale Warren helped countless youth in the juvenile justice system to find their footing and go on to build more productive and rewarding lives, and his contributions will continue to benefit area citizens for years to come; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Dale Warren on the occasion of his retirement as chief juvenile probation officer for Erath County and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Warren as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
