R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A locally owned and operated restaurant can play a
vital role in the life of a Texas community, and Hester's Café and
Coffee Bar has been satisfying customers in Corpus Christi since
2006; and
WHEREAS, Founders Jason and Hester Rodriguez opened their
first restaurant in the Six Points neighborhood, and today they
operate two additional locations, one in Lamar Park and the other in
the Art Museum of South Texas; the popular local chain employs 60
staff members, including the owners' son, Mathew; and
WHEREAS, Over the past nine years, Hester's Café and Coffee
Bar has gained a loyal following, and members of the Rodriguez
family may take pride in their contributions to the Corpus Christi
community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby recognize Hester's Café and Coffee Bar in Corpus
Christi and extend to its owners and staff sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Hester's Café and Coffee Bar as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
