 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The House of Representatives of the State of Texas
 is pleased to recognize Lila Aguirre, who has been selected for
 induction on March 21, 2015, into the San Antonio Women's Hall of
 Fame for her outstanding work in civic leadership; and
 WHEREAS, Since 1984, the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame
 annually honors those women who have contributed significantly to
 the San Antonio community and the Bexar County region through their
 accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and
 WHEREAS, Over the course of a lifetime of community
 leadership in San Antonio, Lila Aguirre has generously and
 unceasingly devoted her time to advancing the community and making
 the city a more vibrant community; and
 WHEREAS, Her actions in these areas have taken many forms,
 including her work with the organizations, Hispanic Women's Network
 of Texas, Texas Democratic Women, and her service on the
 City/County Joint Commission on Elderly Affairs, which works to
 improve the quality of life for seniors in San Antonio and Bexar
 County through outreach, advocacy, and support of senior services
 and resources; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the State of
 Texas, 84th Legislature, hereby commend Lila Aguirre for her
 exceptional achievements and extend congratulations to her on her
 induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her as an expression of high regard and esteem by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
