5	5	WHEREAS, The House of Representatives of the State of Texas
6	6	is pleased to recognize Susan Lewellyn Pamerleau, who has been
7	7	selected for induction on March 21, 2015, into the San Antonio
8	8	Women's Hall of Fame for her outstanding work and leadership in
9	9	public service; and
10	10	WHEREAS, Since 1984, the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame
11	11	annually honors those women who have contributed significantly to
12	12	the San Antonio community and the Bexar County region through their
13	13	accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and
14	14	WHEREAS, When Susan Lewellyn Pamerleau was elected as the
15	15	first female sheriff of Bexar County it was yet another significant
16	16	barrier shattered by her; and
17	17	WHEREAS, She also has been the first woman to command the Air
18	18	Force ROTC and has commanded the 3700th Personnel Resources Group
19	19	Air Force Military Training Center in Lackland Air Force Base from
20	20	1988 to 1989; now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the State of
22	22	Texas, 84th Legislature, hereby commend Susan Lewellyn Pamerleau
23	23	for her exceptional achievements and extend congratulations to her
24	24	on her induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be
25	25	it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
27	27	prepared for her as an expression of high regard and esteem by the
28	28	Texas House of Representatives.
