H.R. No. 1401
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cynthia Ann Najera has greatly benefited the youth
of her community through her efforts in behalf of the Socorro
Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, The mother of two daughters educated in Socorro ISD
schools, Ms. Najera is a former parent liaison for Horizon Heights
Elementary School and volunteer coordinator for Horizon Heights and
Americas High School; she currently serves as a district volunteer
and is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Horizon City; and
WHEREAS, Cynthia Ann Najera has demonstrated a steadfast
commitment to building a bright and promising future for local
children, and in so doing, she has earned the deep respect and
appreciation of her fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby honor Cynthia Ann Najera for her work with
Socorro ISD and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Najera as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
