| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |

| 6 | 7 | | comfort those saddened by the passing of Nancy A. Castillo of |

| 7 | 8 | | Robstown on November 14, 2014, at the age of 66; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A Robstown native, the former Nancy Figueroa was |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | born on October 29, 1948, to Venancio and Luisa Figueroa; she was a |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | loving mother to her two children, Robert and Kimberly, and she took |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | great pride in her four grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Castillo was a devout Catholic, and she also |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | gave generously of her time as a classroom teacher assistant at |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Lotspeich Elementary School, as a Parent Involvement Liaison at |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Ortiz Intermediate School, and as a volunteer with the Robstown |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | High School Band; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Nancy Castillo lived a caring and purposeful life, |

| 18 | 19 | | and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Nancy A. Castillo |

| 22 | 23 | | and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |

| 23 | 24 | | children, Robert Michael Costante and Kimberly Rae Sonnier; to her |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | brothers, Venancio Figueroa Jr. and Ruben B. Figueroa; to her |

| 25 | 26 | | sisters, Elsa Hinojosa and Eva Figueroa Rodriguez; to her |
