H.R. No. 1478 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may comfort those saddened by the passing of Nancy A. Castillo of Robstown on November 14, 2014, at the age of 66; and WHEREAS, A Robstown native, the former Nancy Figueroa was born on October 29, 1948, to Venancio and Luisa Figueroa; she was a loving mother to her two children, Robert and Kimberly, and she took great pride in her four grandchildren; and WHEREAS, Ms. Castillo was a devout Catholic, and she also gave generously of her time as a classroom teacher assistant at Lotspeich Elementary School, as a Parent Involvement Liaison at Ortiz Intermediate School, and as a volunteer with the Robstown High School Band; and WHEREAS, Nancy Castillo lived a caring and purposeful life, and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Nancy A. Castillo and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her children, Robert Michael Costante and Kimberly Rae Sonnier; to her brothers, Venancio Figueroa Jr. and Ruben B. Figueroa; to her sisters, Elsa Hinojosa and Eva Figueroa Rodriguez; to her grandchildren; to her nieces and nephews; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nancy A.
