| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This notable annual event provides an opportunity |

| 10 | 11 | | towns and cities across the country to promote cooperative crime |

| 11 | 12 | | prevention efforts; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Commemorated through neighborhood gatherings, |

| 13 | 14 | | cookouts, parades, flashlight walks, and other activities, |

| 14 | 15 | | National Night Out helps to build community cohesiveness, |

| 15 | 16 | | strengthen relations between residents and local police, and |
